West Virginia Monday-Thursday

Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland (barely) and West Virginia. We've made it nine states and about 2,000 miles. And no one has gotten hurt yet! Only a little poison ivy and lots of bug bites! Henryk said good bye to everyone and everything ("bye lakes", "bye fish", "bye duckies", "bye trees", etc....).

It took about 5 hours from the cottage in PA to get to Aunt Annie's and Uncle Rob's in Charles Town, WV. We had to make a few stops--potty breaks and dumping the camper (no we didn't just open it up over the Potomac!). We made it Memorial Day around 5p. Henryk pointed out a train bridge that we just barely made it under. It said 11'6" and we scraped the AC. Thankfully no damage done...we're going to need that in GA this weekend.

We explored their new house and huge wrap-around deck. We saw a deer and went over to see the chickens. What a great neighborhood and their house is at the end of the street backing up to the Claymont property. Just a short walk commute for Uncle Rob to get to the green houses. The neighbors don't seem to mind us living in a camper in their driveway!

We are getting this question a lot: Do you ride in the camper? The answer is no. No seat belts or proper shocks. Not really a safe place to keep your kids!
